Dr R Govender works at Lenmed Ethekweni Hospital and Heart Centre. She is on the executive committee of the paediatric neurology and developmental association (PANDA- SA). This is a national body that lobbies for children with neurological problems and disabilities in South Africa. She is also the secretary of the South African chapter of the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE- SA). ILAE is an international epilepsy association that advocates for all patients with epilepsy.
